Our son has a 3/4 size string bass but apparently the endpin is thinner than normal string basses, so all the endpin caps we tried before were too big and they would slip off. So we tried these endpin caps, which of course are advertised for cello, but they work perfectly so far - no falling off, and thick enough to last for awhile. I like that it comes in a 4 pack so there are extras as needed.

These fit perfectly on my son’s cello end pin. It’s nice to have a pack of these since they do tend to fall off.
