This burlap was exactly what I needed for the cold snap that was coming. I use burlap as the first layer on the palm trees and the only layer for other plants.Burlap is reusable for a couple years and it was time to replace some of the older stuff. I was happy that it didn’t have a strong smell, the last stuff I bought from another company smell like a melting rubber tires.The bonus scissors and measuring tape were perfect compliments to the package. I didn’t know it was part of what I ordered, but it was very appreciated. I’m always having to hunt down good fabric scissors in my house for projects.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this package and found they included a pair of scissors and retractable soft measuring tape that can fit easily into any small pocket. Great added bonus that makes this ready to use out of the box!

I ordered this burlap for crafting, with the main purpose being to cover two non-ornate black pots that have small Christmas trees in. I've been wanting to do something to cover the pots for a few years now, but just didn't have anything in the house I could use and never got around to looking for something on-line or in a craft store. Now I have the burlap and I think it will work great, but will likely double up material, as it is pretty thin (only reason I removed a star). I had already put the trees up when I got this, so it will have to wait until next year. I'll have to think of other things I could use this for as well, because there is a lot of it. The pair of scissors and the measuring tape were nice little bonuses as well. The price at $30 for this size roll is a great price, but maybe it's because of the weight of it, so maybe on par with similar items. Happy with this order.

I'm using these to cover the bottom of my raised beds as a weed barrier. When I opened the package, there was a very strong chemical smell. We decided to leave it out laying out for a couple of days to air out. the smell seems to have dissipated, but I am concerned about what the chemicals in this may be.

A lot of burlap here, also comes with scissors and measuring tape which I’m happy to keep right in the box with the burlap. This is an open weave – about ¼ inch spacing, not tight at all. I was thinking of using it for weed control but it is too much of an open weave so I’ll make use of it to wrap around bushes to protect from snow drifts and animal damage. I also think it would make nice decorating accents in baskets and planters for flower arrangements to add a rustic touch. A good amount of burlap at a good price and handy to have around the house and garden.

When this came onto my Amazon Vine feed, I knew it would be a big piece of burlap. I do not recommend products I myself wouldn't use.As someone who decorates their home with industrial/rustic farmhouse and loves textures, burlap is a good material to add.Never did I think of using them as curtains as another review showed but I love that idea.I actually ordered it though so I could make crafts with it. I can make a table runner or placemats, glue it to some planters that I paint, line the bottom of a decorative tray.I can do so much with this one sheet of burlap.And if I want to just use it to cover plants, it's big enough to do a few or a several raised garden beds.This burlap is heavy duty. I couldn't believe the weight of the box when it arrived.I love how they include scissors and a tape measure. That'll come in handy.The price for what you get is also pretty nice. If you've ever bought burlap from a craft place, you'll know how expensive it is. For just a little roll that can be used to trim projects is about $6 if you're lucky.40 feet of burlap with scissors and a tape measure for just under $30? That's a steal.I am very pleased and definitely recommend. I can't wait to get started on projects. (When I get time).

REEKS of chemicals. I left it outside for two days, the toxic stench didn't get better. I washed it on cold with detergent and let it dry for two days. The smell is still too strong to be around. This product is listed as appropriate for CRAFT purposes. NOT TRUE. This cannot be indoors due to the odor, it smells like gasoline. Very disappointed. There are pictures of crafts in the listing, they should be removed.
