Exactly what I needed to replace the rusted out U Nuts on my 49 Ford fenders. Fit perfect in the original locations. With stainless mounting screws they should never rust.

Some are tight, some loose when installing in 14g steel - all tighten down just fine though, threads are good, etc. 4 stars

This is a review for 40 Packs 1/4" - 20 Stainless Steel Regular Extruded U Nuts, U Style Clip-on Nut, U Type Nut, U-nut, U-Type Fasteners.This is one of those often not thought about parts of a vehicle, but they do so much and the little clip that holds them in place can easily be distorted beyond use or even broken. These little things help keep alignment and gaps of your fender and other parts.These are well made. The fit snuggly and securely when placed correctly. These are a good quality replacement, and I can definitely recommend these if you need them.

The threads seems to hold well and the nut grips the sheet when I slide it on. What more can you ask for.

These are exactly what I needed for restoring my old tractor. I have an older John Deere compact tractor and all of the body panels are held on with U Nuts. The problem is 90% of them are either rusted on or falling apart. Now that I have these, I have no issues using an impact to blow the old bolts off/out and start fresh with all new hardware. The stainless is nice as well as this tractor sits outside in the weather. So far, after a few weeks in the elements I have seen no signs of rusting or other issues.
