I needed brushes for a $500 MARCH MFG. INC. Water pump model 809-BR for my solar water heating system. The internet was not much help even on manufacturers site so i thought ivwould take chance on this assortment. The 5*8*13 mm was slightly shorter but works in the motot. Replacing that one set was well worth the cost. Give it achabif you have some brushes that are hard to find.It also comes with a storage box so now i have a place to put my extra brudhes i order and mabey i can use thrm instead of having to order again.I recomend this set. Why only 4 stars? In my mind 3 stars is as expected and 4 stars is sbove ecpectations.

I needed a specific set of carbon brushes, and oem was not available.I played around with a pair nearly like my set,and results not bad.good value.

Once in a while, you might run into a brush size that falls right between two of the sizes found in the kit. That was the situation I found myself in when I received this brush assortment for free to evaluate and review. Well, you know what they say about Yankee ingenuity. I took two of the brushes that were just slightly too large to slide freely in the brush holders and shaved them down with a piece of emery cloth. Within seconds, I had a set of brushes that worked perfectly. I can see that this assortment will be a real time saver for me.
