  • 1.The battery must be full charged before first use

    2.You need to turn off your laptop and disconnect the power when you install a new battery

    2.Do Discharge the new battery use to 5%/7%(not to 0%) and then charge to 95%, and cycle 3-4 times

  • When the computer is turned on, if it is not recognised, it is recommended to update the BIOS settings or please disconnecting the old battery, and holding down the power button for 20 seconds, then connect the new battery

  • It is suggested to charge the battery before the power runs out completely. It is best to charge when the remaining power is about 5-10%, and the battery should be charged in a relatively dry place.

Bought this battery in December 2021 for a Dell Inspiron 3537 at customer site. Customer recently called (November 2023) with an error "BIOS boot message: battery cannot be identified. The system will be unable to charge this battery." Considering Dell's price for this battery is over $100, a 2 year longevity isn't too bad on a $25 battery. I've never had an original Dell battery just go dead like this, but considering cost vs. benefits, the trade off isn't too bad if the laptop is not a point of failure for your office. Luckily, we have a couple spares that are easily swapped in for a downed laptop. Not a bad deal, but not a great lifespan from the battery. I will try another and see if this was a outlier. On the positive side, the battery fits perfectly and until this call, it was working perfectly as far as I know.

My old battery lasted for 20 minutes after a full charge. After 3 charges on this battery my Dell inspiron 15-3000 lasted 2-1/2 hours. Incredible.
