If you have ever squinted looking through a standard magnifying glass trying to find a carat mark on a piece of jewelry, you will appreciate this. My dad collected rocks and he had one of these years ago that he used to examine his finds. I used to play with it when I was a kid. Of course, no lights or need for batteries with that one. When I saw this, I had to have it. The light is very bright and it also has an ultra violet light that can come in handy sometimes. What is not shown in the listing is the case this comes in. It is like a very sturdy clear plastic egg that is excellent protection and very classy. And of course, there are the ten extra batteries??? Does this burn batteries like a birthday candle? I guess time will tell.

I really like this little loupe, its bigger than most of the others I've seen and the light on it is bright. Helps a LOT. The case it comes with is also really nice (honestly almost overkill). And all the spare batteries are a bonus too. Sorta wish it had come with a lanyard, but I'm nitpicking, its hard to fault this at all. Love it!

This is a dandy little jeweler's loupe! The body is metal, with plastic parts inside for the LED and UV lights. They are bright and light up the subject well. The UV light is real, I tested on my yooperlite stone and it lit up. The magnification and clarity is good, allowing you to much more closely inspect your item. The loupe has a little loop at the hand to hang it from, and it stays positioned correctly if you do. The case is nice, with a button that snaps in to open it. The extra batteries are handy too, one less thing to worry about for someone who is going to be using this tool a lot. Overall, nicer than the ones I've seen at the discount tool store and it works well.

Product is made in ChinaComes wrapped in a fold and seal bag, inside it is in a display box. Inside there are a bunch of batteries (as shown) with a case to keep the magnifine glass in for protection. With a key inside to change the batteries. There is also a cleaning cloth and instructions for how it works.This is what I've been needing and I am having so much fun going through my jewelry collection investigating quality. This will be used at estate sales, for reviewing, and otherwise inspecting small items.This has a high resolution magnification on it, and is difficult to get exactly where you want. But once focused this can blow up lettering that is unreadable otherwise.I love the case as I can ensure I don't damage the product as it rides in my purse. Very strong latch so it will not just fall out.

This seems to be great quality. It's got some weight to it and the magnifier and lights work great. It comes with extra batteries which is cool. Very happy.

This is a very nice, metal jewelers loupe. It came with batteries installed, extra batteries, glass cleaning cloth, and a nice carrying case that fits in a purse or hip bag. It would to protect the lens very well. It lights up well and it has a nice magnification
