I’m a bit surprised by the five-star reviews. Perhaps when you consider the price point it is a good deal. But the build itself is noticeably lower-mid range: plastic underside, light weight, roughly cast components. At any price that is not five stars to me. Having said that, the usefulness for the student or hobbyist is undeniable. With proper care I hope to make this last a good long time.

Even with the fine focus zoomed in at the best focus there was, partial blurry areas made it hard to see clearly. The only objective lens that worked was the 4x and even that one was blurred. The 10x was 10% clarity and I couldn’t see anything out of the 40x. I have a Swift SW380T and I can see very clear out of that microscope on the 4x & 10xSpend the extra money and get a SWIFT.

For the price, I was really impressed. It's mostly metal and feels heavy duty, like the ones I used in school. It's certainly weighty. All the proper adjustments on a real microscope are present, and they all feel super smooth. The image I get is excellent. I've already used it several times and I'm blown away at the clarity of the images of the specimens, some of them being quite small.The included case is thoughtful as well. All the compartments are thoroughly padded to give the microscope and all its accessories proper protection. I like that this kit also includes sample specimens to get the kids going right away. Microscopes have always fascinated me, and I'm glad I found one that works this well and this well put together.

There's no way to replace it that I can find, instruction manual is very limited. Returning.

Microscopes we used during the middle school were so interesting to me, being able to own one is as interesting indeed.Apparently this is a well made microscope, great for educational purposes. Focus depth is excellent, focusing knobs are smooth and stable.This is a nice microscope and it is still interesting to look in to objects in such depth.This is a great gift for a kid for the coming holiday season.

Ich muss sagen, ich bin von der Qualität dieses Mikroskopes tatsächlich beeindruckt. Um diesen Preis hätte ich mir das nicht erwartet. Sehr wertig und stabil verarbeitet und eine tolle Abbildungsleistung. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Mode d’emploi est juste une notice descriptive des boutons.Le poids est moyen. Donc pas hyper stable.La dimension est petite.(environ 30 cm de haut).L’angle de vision à 45° oblige à se pencher prêt du plan de travail pour regarder. OK pour enfant mais compliqué pour un adulte de 1m8O, à moins d’avoir un tabouret bas.Éclairage : les illuminations sont faibles. OK jusque x250, plus compliqué au-delà . Non fonctionnel à x1000.Danger : A noter qu’il faut enlever les piles si l’on veut connecter les éclairages sur le secteur (via un chargeur), ce qui est ultra dangereux (je croyait que ce type de matériel était interdit en Europe...)Mise au point : • Le canal droit est OK. Clair et net. • Le réglage inter-pupillaire est passable : pas facile à réaliser mais on y arrive • Le canal gauche ne voit pas la même chose que le canal droit. Le canal gauche est flou. Je n’ai pas réussi avec l’œil droit à le mettre au point de manière aussi nette que le canal droit. • Le fonction binoculaire est donc inopérante. Impossible de voir avec les deux yeux sans avoir un mal de tête. • Les deux canaux sont statiques, c’est à dire qu’on ne peut pas régler un œil, puis régler l’autre. Là aussi migraine assurée.Photos avec support téléphone portable : impossible d’avoir de la qualité. • Le support ne permet pas de mettre l’axe optique du téléphone dans l’alignement de l’axe optique de la lentille du microscope (tilt de 4° environ). Donc une image de qualité médiocre. • Le téléphone, une fois réglé, pèse sur le porte téléphone, si bien que très rapidement, surtout aux forts grossissements, il faut soutenir le téléphone à la main pour qu’il reste dans l’axe optique et qu’il y ait une image. Quelle galère.Je n’ai pas testé au-delà .Seuls points positifs : une valise très bien remboursée, ce qui fait du microscope un objet portable efficaceEn conclusion : microscope binoculaire ne fonctionnant que sur l’œil droit, jusque des grossissements de x250 et ne permettant pas de faire des photos dans de bonnes conditions. Objet dangereux si on le branche au secteur avec des piles dans leur logement.
