I needed several cord locks for different projects and these fit the bill. There are multiple styles to choose from and they will work with the cording provided or with other existing pull material. These are great for shoe bags, tie pants/shorts, leisure wear, storage bags, etc. I am pleased with this purchse.

This kit is great and offers many options due to the multiple choices of fasteners included. However, the scissors that come in the kit are extremely dangerous and there really isn't a safe way to use them. I would highly recommend this kit bc of the quality and value for your dollar but I would also recommend just throwing the kit scissors away and use regular scissors or a razor blade/box cutter.

Finally, a way to fix several scout backpacks so that they can continue to be loved and used! This bungee type cord was easy to use, as were the multitude of ends and slide tighteners. About the only thing that would have made this even better would be an option on color of the cord.

Bought this to make some fishing rod keepers. Was quick and easy to do then found some other uses for the elastic straps and connections. Have had the straps on my 8 foot 2 piece catfish rods for a month now and works well. Unsure about the durability yet, but so far so good. Just make sure when you cut the cord you either use cord ends or a lights to melt the ends to keep them from fraying

I, probably like a lot of people, used to hate tying my shoes. I remember a time when I was a child and I wholeheartedly believe that I would never learn how to tie my shoes. I remember, quite vividly in fact, telling my mother that I would just wear velcro shoes for the rest of my life.Obviously, that didn't happen. Like all children, I eventually learned how to tie my shoes and have been doing so for the majority of my life. However, I am one of those people that prefers flip flops over regular shoes. In recent years I have preferred slip-ons over lace-up shoes. At some point when I was a teenager I started using elastic from a material store in place of shoelaces in order to convert tennis shoes into slip-ons. In my boot-wearing phase I discovered shock cord, and I would use that in place of boot laces.Suffice to say that products like this one are a tremendous shortcut for me. It's almost like being back in those days when I was a kid and didn't have to tie my little velcro shoes.I don't know if there are people out there that are like me, but if my little story resonates with you, then yeah, I would recommend you get this product.

So I ordered this kit to create a bungee system for my North Face Recon Backpack. The Recon Backpack has available secure points for other things but I saw a picture online and decided I wanted to try and create my own.If you are looking to do this to your backpack use the photo as a guide. So far this kit gives you every thing you could need to customize any bungee setup you may be looking for.Awesome kit

I used my cord for my sweatpants, because, you know, the regular cotton cord doesn't like to give and rebound, which is clearly why this would be good for this application. Well, it was great! ..at first.A week or two later, still good... And then like, days apart, I was pulling one pair up after using the restroom, SNAP. Cord broke. And put on another pair the next day, and you guessed it! Snap. Now I am out of cord, and only one pair of sweats is still holding its own.The add-ons they include, I like, the tray, and the stoppers, they work well. But, the cord itself, apparently can't handle the stresses of holding up pants. So, there you have it.
