CYTTR- We mainly produce thermal transfer ribbon for barcode printer, all size can as request.
Material: Wax, Wax Resin, Resin
A. How to choose Ribbon Material?
If print on Paper label, normally choose Wax Ribbon;
If print on PP label, or glossy Paper label, choose Wax Resin Ribbon;
If print on PET,PVC label etc ,choose Resin ribbon.
B. Printer and its ribbon
Normally the printer, decide 3item info of the ribbon:
a. The maximum width and length of the ribbon;
b. The ribbon ink side: ink out or ink in;
c. Flat head ribbon or near edge ribbon;(Printer head has two kinds: Flat printhead and near edge printhead, normally is flat head, few is near edge printhead)
Desktop Printer and its Ribbon
Desktop Printer normally use small size ribbon:110MM*74M .
Ribbon material depend on the label you print on.
If print on Paper label, normally choose Wax Ribbon;
If print on PP label, or glossy Paper label, choose Wax Resin Ribbon;
If print on PET,PVC label etc. ,choose Resin ribbon.
Industrial Printer and its Ribbon
Industrial Printer normally use big size:110mm*300m or 110mm*450m etc.
110mm*300m is the most often using size for almost all industrial printer.
110mm*450m for some printer, for example :ZEBRA ZT410,ZT420.
And for ribbon material choosing:
If print on Paper label, normally choose Wax Ribbon;
If print on PP label, or glossy Paper label, choose Wax Resin Ribbon;
If print on PET,PVC label etc. ,choose Resin ribbon.

I'm using this in a TSC TC310 (which is rebranded by many others) for printing on HellermannTyton and WireLister self-laminating cable wrap labels. This is the best performing ribbon I've found besides HT's TT822OUTSM ribbon, which is about 5 times the price.I've also used this ribbon with metalized labels, HT part TAG15T3, and it resists rubbing off from friction or solvents the best of the various types I've tried.

After ordering the printer without the ribbon I was really hoping I got the right ribbon and it looked like it was going to be confusing to put together. But this is easy to put in the printer and worked great!
