Fitting these pieces to a violin is an art and a craft, and so it is unreasonable to expect to take this set out of the bag and magically fit it to your instrument. That being said, if you have the right tools, you can make it work, in many cases, but those tools are specialized and unless you are a luthier, you would be unlikely to have them. For example, in my case, with a 4/4 violin that's about 30-40 years old, these tuning pegs were too large, and the end pin was too small. Who knows how the rest of the pieces will fare. To size and shape the tuning pegs, you really need a reamer and a shaver. Even the most basic set of these costs around $35, which is not a lot, but if you're buying this set for less than $20, you're probably trying to do this on the cheap. The price of tools can add up.In my case, I searched and searched for a smaller set of pegs, which I did find. They still need to be taken down a tiny but but I'll try sanding carefully. I still have to buy a new larger end button. It remains to be seen whether the other pieces will work out well. They are very basic, but they might be ok. If you have any idea what you're doing or what you need (which I did not!), you might be better off buying the individual pieces. Still, there's something to be said for starting with a kit like this and feeling your way along, you can learn a lot from seeing what works and what doesn't.(And by the way, the set does not include a nut. It does not claim to, so no harm there, but just if you're like me and you are starting from a really stripped-down violin body, you may need the nut as well. You'll have to buy that separately.)

Good quality pegs and easy to adjust tuning after new strings were used to replace the old strings.Tuning of my violin was easy to tune with the new pegs.

The accessories are not good . The pegs don't fit and they are not the right color. The last one I bought I had to return because the tail was broken. It's just really cheap looking. Not happy with it.

Tuning pegs will not fit my violin. They are too large for the head holes. I will be returning this package.
