These nylon nuts are working out great with my diy project. I needed something that can handle the rattling and vibration of my project- while staying secure and locked down- and these nuts are doing just fine. For the price you pay, you get a lot of nuts to use now and/or for future projects - I believe these are a great value.

I used these to secure bolts that hold wood to metal framing on a trailer; the expansion of the wood and vibration of the trailer tend to loosen nuts, even when using a lock washer. These have been in place now over two months, and all are holding solid. Just a FYI if you are not used to using stainless hardware - if you ever intend to remove the nut, you should use anti seize on the threads, as stainless to stainless tends to gall and weld itself together under pressure.

Both the mix of standard and flanged nuts that had been used when it was originally constructed would both begin to loosen over time.As I replaced the original zinc plated hardware that began to rust with stainless steel hardware, I also added lock washers, but as can be seen in the example in the image provided, this also failed to stay secure over time.While it will take weeks to months to confirm if these fare better, that they provide a detectable resistance when securing into place is encouraging.While the listed count is 60, the package I received contained 61.Technically, when I received it, it contained far fewer than that as the plastic box they are packaged in did not remain completely closed during shipment. (Fortunately, they did not escape the shipping package). For storage, one will likely want to secure the closure of the included box in some manner, or transfer the nuts to a different container.

I’m presently gathering supplies for a utility trailer rehab and will need a good quantity of stainless steel hardware to bolt the wood flooring to the frame. This pack of 60 1/4 inch nuts with nylon lock insert has well formed threads, were smooth on my thread checker, and although I didn’t fully put a nut on a bolt to test, the insert appears like it will perform as intended. I’m dropping a star due to the current price of $9 for 60, which isn’t bad, but is significantly higher per nut than other options easily found here on Amazon.
