This is much better than standard grade railroad chalk. As an adjuster I wanted something that showed up a little better in pictures and this doesn't disappoint. Typical chalk doesn't have enough color and ends up being a pale blue on roofs, this is extremely bright and shows up well even at a distance.

This chalk definitely leaves its mark. Very vibrant color. As a Catastrophe Claims Adjuster, I use it to mark hail damage on roofs of homes and businesses.The only thing I don't like about it is the amount of chalk/color it leaves on your hands. The White chalk of this same product has a coating to prevent this, but for some reason they don't coat the blue. It's a bit messy. I would give the product 5-stars if it was coated.This product is also less expensive, per stick, then the Crayola sidewalk chalk, but also comes in fewer colors. I don't need many colors for what I use it for, so this is not an issue for me.I would definitely recommend the product to other CAT adjusters.

As an Adjuster I use this to mark homes and roofs for damage and it works very well. I would caution, don't use this to mark a garage door, it will stay on an stain the paint. Works well marking gutters, downspouts, windows, valley metal, hvac, metal doors......stays on a loooooong time.

Bought this for marking roof tiles. Stays on for a long time even through rain which is great for roofing jobs that require multiple inspections.
