This is a pretty good set of thread chasers as long as you don’t need to clean any threads smaller than ¼ inch or 6 mm. There are a number of good qualities about the set. I like that the pieces are color coded depending on type (SAE or metric) and thread type (coarse or fine). I like that the set includes two files which are sometimes necessary to clean up threads at the very end of a bolt. If those first threads are messed up, you may not be able to screw on the nut-type thread chaser. That’s when these files are really necessary. The files each are 4 sided with different pitches on each side, they have vinyl handles for a more comfortable grasp, and they are reversible with different pitches on either end of the file. They have teeth for both SAE and metric threads. Finally, everything comes in a sturdy case which will keep everything together nicely. Overall, very good product. I tested it on several bolts and was able to clean them up quite easily. This is going to do just what I need it to do.
