Not too hard to put on and has great hold. I’ve been able to take it off and make it tighter without any problems. It’s very durable, I’ve put it through the washer and worn it multiple times and the pins have never came out. Doesn’t make my pants look weird and honestly not that noticeable in general since they are small. Love that I can still wear my favorite pants. It’s comfortable to wear, the only time I notice is when I lean directly on the buttons.

They work well when they are on but as for removing them from clothing not so much. I struggled with it and ended up using pliers to get them off bc they wouldn't budget. So as long as one intends to keep them on then they are great!

I was a little hesitant to purchase these pins at first because of all the reviews saying how difficult they are to unpin, how they only work with thin fabric, and how the pins pinch your waist on the inside of the pants. I'm thrilled to report that I had the opposite experience in EVERY SINGLE ONE of those areas.Firstly, you don't actually want the pins to easily unpin as that would lead to them coming undone at inopportune times or them unexpectedly stabbing at your waist. Thankfully that is NOT the case, and unpinning them is just a matter of pulling at the back of the pin in the right spot. So simple, and actually a very smart feature.The trickiest part is figuring out exactly where to place the pins, but that is no fault of the product. The way I did it was to first put on the pants and close / zip them fully, then standing in front of a mirror, fold over both sides of the pants where I thought best to try and estimate where the pins would be placed. It's helpful to look for a seam, belt loop, or pocket line to visually mark where you'd like to place the first pin on both sides so that they are even with each other. I then took the pants off, inserted the first 2 pins on each side (with their accompanying metal buckles under them, the one that juts out more), put the pants back on and again folded the waist back with me hands to try and visualize where the next set of pins should go. At this stage, while still wearing the pants, I was able to confidently insert ONE pin (over its accompanying metal buckle) while still wearing the pants, to ensure it was placed correctly. Then I took the pants off, placed the last of the pins, and tried the pants on again to make sure all was correct. I did end up tightening them a touch more on one side, and you can't even see the extra pin holes in the material.Super handy to have these in a pinch, and I love how stylish they are! So many color options to choose from in the set too. I absolutely recommend these for taking in your pant waists!

The pins appear to sturdy and of good quality however the backs are difficult to take off in order to use. I had to use pliers to pull the backs off. 1 pin broke while I was trying to reposition it there making it unusable. Which is the reason for the 3 star rating.

I was slightly deterred from ordering this product due to the reviews of how difficult it was to remove the backs, but within 5 minutes of receiving the product I figured it out. The backs have a two part system. To unlock the back, push the center piece towards the pin. By doing so, you will release the lock and the back comes right off! They are easier to open than some other reviews make it out to be!These worked as described. The hardest part was determine where to place the pins, but that is not the products fault, that is simply a learning curve.I bought these for my five year old who is currently between sizes in pants, and hasn’t quite nailed down how to work a belt. These pins helped add some extra tightness in the waist. My five year old is extremely picky about how things feel, but she has not complained once about these pins - so comfort is a non issue. And they look cute as can be!

These actually serve the purpose. I use them to make some of my work polo shirts a little tighter on the waist. Something though was off with them. It is hard to take the buckle off the pins sometimes.. I don't know if there is any specific direction you have to try to twist it, but its hit or miss. Sometimes it comes off and sometimes it gets stuck and it you just can't take the buckle off..

Unfortunately, I bought a pair of jeans that were way too big even after washing. Instead of having to spend more money to buy another pair of jeans, these solved my problem! They were very easy to place and don't create any weird bunching on the waist. I was rather surprised at how tiny the buttons are, but perhaps that's my fault for not paying better attention to the measurements. I thought I could use the buttons/pins to replace the actual button closure on the jeans, but they are just way too small. Overall, happy with purchase!

I bought these adjusters hoping to use them on various skirts, removing and adding as required. From looking at the images and description of this product they appeared to be easy to add and remove as the posts look like pins that could be attached and removed much like a brooch or badge. However, this is not the case. The posts are quite thick in diameter and leave sizeable holes in the skirt after removal. To use these items your garments will be permanently damaged. I would not recommend these as a temporary fix, and they are not required for a permanent fix as a couple of stitches will do a much neater job of adjusting your waistband than these will.The title is also misleading, as they are not extenders - they are reducers.

This is what I have been looking for my entire life. I have so many pants that don't fit anymore after I lost weight and I dint want to stop wearing them because I love them. And this is the easy fix to that. Works great. Stays secured. I highly recommend.
