It tracks well, but it's expensive. Hard to find a linear hall effect sensor packaged with all these bells and whistles though.The problem I'm having is it doesn't go to zero volts! I'm not sure if the trim pot is supposed to affect the analog output. For me, it only adjusts the digital. I get 0.78 to 4.52 V with a neodymium magnet. I tried stacking ten of them and still got the same voltage range.It's mine defective or is this typical?

The potentiometer is very difficult to adjust and had to try over 10 small screwdrivers before found one that would turn it. But the adjustment is good and turns on a red led when get close to a magnetic field. The sensitivity of the hall effect sensor is too low for my application, so I replaced it with an Allegro A1324 which greatly increased its sensitivity to weak magnetic fields. This sensor was also bought on Amazon. After that it was working very good for my application.

Great module, way overpriced though. Looking for documentation on it, I found the manufacturer's website, where they sell it for $3 each. That being said, it ships from China, so getting the Prime shipping on it was nice. It has both analog and digital output. When a magnet is not in range, the digital pin reads HIGH, and when a magnet comes in range, the pin goes low, so it may work opposite what you're expecting. I bought this however to use in a distance measurement setup, and the analog readings, so far, seem to be stable and accurate.

Everything works grate the adjustable level had to be replaced it was stuck. The DuPont cables had a short. After these two things where taking care of it worked.
