I have an ultrawide LG monitor with a 3440x1440 resolution. I tested the cable on my Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24 computers and the cable worked as expected without any problems. The cable is now being used by my Ubuntu computer, and it provides a crisp 3440x1440 resolution at 100Hz.

Notable increase in resolution when I replaced my HDMI to HDMI this Displayport to HDMI connector on my 1080P Sony TV which is used as a third monitor. It arrived in a quite generic box, but its performance is markedly improved. Even though the monitor is not 4k, it now has much sharper resolution.
