Upgraded recently to a Mini Mac M2 pro, got a nice external monitor, and wanted to use my old Dell as a second monitor. It's old enough to only have DVI and other connections that aren't compatible physically with newer computers. This cord is a DVI to USB C style, and plugging it in immediately worked. Perfect to fit my needs. Tried a hub that didn't connect, this filled a need to save me from buying a new monitor.

The monitor recognized the cable, but my mac did not. I believe the issue is the monitors limited resolution. I will try again by switching the mac resolution. The suggestions online were to pull power cord, USB, let the mac battery die. Almost too much trouble, may just get a new monitor that takes HDMI. Otherwise I think this is a good cable. The other cable I got failed on my PC and mac and was bad. This cable does seem to work.

Everything was as if taylor made. I already have the wiring to connect my living room tv. I needed something for my bedroom. I had an extra monitor I could use. One two three up and running.

Most monitors these days are HDMI or Displayport, so most docks come with those 2 ports. But I have older monitors that are still good but only have DVI - this cable is a good option for hooking up modern laptops to these older monitors. The cable seems to be high quality and sturdy.My main issue is that while it works on my 1929x1200 monitor, it didn't work with my 2560x1440 monitor. Not sure why this is the case if it's supposed to support up to 4k.

This is a simple product and it works just as expected. Never had an issue with the monitor syncing when plugged in. Everything works on the first try. Both connectors are sturdy and don't lead me to believe I'll have any issues in the future.
