I got a new graphics card, geforce gtx 1660ti and it only had display ports avaliable for it, and my monitor doesn't support display port cords. This worked absolutely perfectly. Fixed my problem in literally 2 minutes, they delivered it literally the next day, plugged it in and my monitor works. id rate this 6 stars if i could. absolutely amazing

This is a little bit more expensive than some you will find but I found that if your cable is going to be a long run or if the computer you’re hooking it up to has an oddball graphics card configuration that this is one of the adapters that has a better chance of working. This is a reputable manufacturer that makes a good product and I trust what they manufacture so I didn’t mind paying a little bit more to get this one. This is a little bit more expensive than some you will find but I found that if your cable is going to be a long run or if the computer you’re hooking it up to has an oddball graphics car configuration that this is one of the adapters that has a better chance of working. This appears to work but HP in their infinite wisdom chose to implement a non standard DP protocol so it was not as good as I would have liked. I will say it worked better than another brand v1.2 DP to VGA adapter I tried.

The adapter on the church's computer went bad and we were suddenly losing the signal to the power point monitor. I sent for an expensive adapter but it changed the ratio to the screens which was unacceptable. I sent it back and ordered a less expensive adapter and had a perfect picture again. I didn't realize the differences in adapters.

I replaced an older HP computer with a newer Dell Optiplex 7040, but kept the vga monitor. The Dell had no VGA port so I had to use one of the display ports and this adapter. Everything works well with no noticeable difference than before with the old computer.

Display port to VGA is tricky. I have a vga KVM and needed to convert a machine over to VGA. Tried 3 other adapters before this one and they all caused screen blinking. This one (DP 1.2) did the trick! But, I expect nothing less from Tripp Lite.

I have to tell some words about my own issue which got resolved by this awesome adapter,I have Think-pad T480 Lenovo dock-station,I tried to connect 2 HDMI/VGA monitors to it ,unfortunately the dock-station contains only VGA & DP,I've tried 4 connectors - passive ones,before i discovered this active one,I ordered ,it got delivered on time and it did the magic,Now I have 2 monitors connected to my dock-station!,Highly recommended from my side.

Comprándolo a precio de oferta, es la mejor opción para convertir DP a VGA, la imagen resulta perfecta a FHDno hay ruido ni artefactos en la imagen. Tripp lite fabrica siempre productos de mucha calidad y este no es la excepción.Muy robusto, y totalmente transparente para los equipos.Dato aparte; lo uso con un KVM y no pierde la sincronización cuando selecciono otro equipo y regreso a éste, la imagen regresa perfecta, y otros convertidores que he probado si me han dado problemas al perder la conexión con el monitor debido al KVM y al re conectar ya no hay imagen.
