this item was used with my meade 8" SCT for allowing a drive motor to run the altitude part of my telescope for photographic work. It connected the needed parts to do their function and control the telescopes ability to track the stars or other celestial objects I was photographing.

These worked fine. If you know you will have any shaft misalignment this type of coupling is a must. Parts came clean and undamaged, good response time. Would be nice if they are just a little lower cost. Otherwise I'm satisfied.
