Although the kit does not come with a manual it is easy to figure out. Unfortunately, in the process of figuring out you may not get the best results possible.In any case part of the success is to have the baby calm and in the right position to get the right print.Since we lost two print sets due to baby issues, while we were learning hard by trial and error, we decided to also keep the inkpads as part of the prints, one negative and one positive.We were really happy with the way it looks and the final results.

The price is higher than if you purchased the easy imprint paint in a tube. But then you would have to supply your own card stock paper.So, it depends on what you want to imprint.Because it is easy clean up, you can't put it on a fabric and expect it to stay there after a wash.I got this as a gift. My child went to preschool, and the preschool made handprint of each child with a saying.We have had that gift from preschool in a frame now for over 30 years. Finally, we have a grandbaby and can keep the tradition going. This is perfect for the holidays to make a custom handprint for each grandparent. (even for me when I'm providing the kit!)

The Tubuui 4-Pack Baby Footprint Kits is great. You get 4 kits for handprints or footprints. I liked that they were color: blue, green, and a red. These are great for newborns especially because they do not get the ink on baby so easier to use when they are tiny.
