Look nice, as described, works well. Only downside was one of the rods had tons of metal shavings in the wrapping. Seemingly not from the rod itself, so no impact on the part itself. Everything else is just what I needed.

I have been trying to put together this project 3D printer with leftovers from other printers, but I was missing some of the aluminum beams. In the picture you can see the beams I alreasy had (silver) and the beams I cut from one of these (in black).It was easy to cuy by hand with a guide and a hacksaw, i just went slowly and carefully and the guide made sure my cut was at 90 degrees. I filed the ends a litlle bit and assembled the pieces into the printer. I am going to add a couple more beams for reinforcement as it's still a little wobbly, but the rest of the beams are going to my CNC project.Good quality, good price. Will definitely buy these again if needed. The included corner braces were nice too, I used them at the corners of the vertical gantry. All good.

Nicely long for a large format custom laser array. Or really anything big that needs to get framed out. The cuts were made a bit shy of the 1220mm as if they measured to the outside of the blade and you are taking the material loss from the cut. A bummer for details and a minor point, regardless.Nicely wrapped and carrying minor shavings on the rails, the corner connectors were a nice bonus. They aren't the best finish, but they fit well enough on the slots. Just don't expect a photo award from up close.

I am really grateful to other reviewers who noted the packaging includes some stray metal shavings. I am much happier to have had the loose bits fall onto my garage floor instead of getting into the carpet.The material itself is exactly as expected. Although I do a bit of 3D printing from time to time, I actually got these pieces of extrusion to use with a brand of desktop PC cases from a couple decades ago called Lubic. Their kits always came with an abundance of connectors, but only so much extrusion, which somewhat limited my creative options. No more. I especially love that lengths and quantities are available here that are useful to DIYers and Makers without having to contend with the shipping fees of industrial-scale suppliers.A note about the packaging: Each piece is individually wrapped in a film that is lightly adhesive and then they are bundled together with a packaging tape that has more aggressive adhesive. I have one piece that was not fully covered by its film, so there were some narrow lines of adhesive from the tape that remained stuck to the extrusion and required cleanup. A nice thing about the wrapping is that it's just sticky enough to capture most of the aluminum shavings on its own. I cleaned up the garage floor by balling up all the tape and wrapping and just rolling the ball around until it collected all the fragments I could see, like a little episode of real life Katamari Damacy.Again, great material and tremendously convenient to be able to have it delivered by Amazon.

Typical of most 20-20 extrusions and arrived boxed in perfect condition. This is solid 20-20 and not the lightweight version. 4 pieces of 48†20-20 rails is a good amount of material for constructing smaller items like frames, boxes, braces, etc. I wouldn’t use it full or near-full length for anything structural, however, preferring a larger extrusion for that.Excellent value versus some of the alternatives in the market. Meets standard specs and was packaged properly.
