It runs one of my Blink cameras with out issue and this camera has HIGH traffic on it and never had a battery issue so far and I've had it for probably 9 months now. Install was a breeze, it seems well made. I just wish that it had different base height options and a longer cord would be nice as well, as I have a camera I would like to put this on that is always in the shade and would like to get a panel to the sunny area for better charging. But the one I have has worked great so far, saving a fortune on the now really expensive AA lithium batteries the cameras require. Defiantly recommend

I recently purchased the Solar Panel Charging for my Blink Outdoor camera, and I’m beyond impressed! This accessory is a game-changer. Before using it, I had to constantly keep an eye on the camera's battery, but now it stays fully charged, even in cloudy weather. What I Love: Consistent Power Supply: The solar panel provides a reliable charge, ensuring my camera is always ready to go without interruptions. Easy Installation: Setting it up was straightforward, and the mount is sturdy, keeping the panel secure. Weather-Resistant: It’s built to handle the elements, so I don’t worry about rain or sun damage. Eco-Friendly: I love that it’s solar-powered! No more swapping out batteries, which saves money and reduces waste.Overall, the solar panel has made my Blink camera maintenance-free. If you’re looking for a smart, sustainable, and convenient way to keep your security cameras powered, this is it! Highly recommend!

Under normal usage my Blink cameras are always running off of these panels. They have their own internal rechargeable battery and that seems to be enough to power them overnight. You can still leave the batteries in the camera as a backup, and if needed, the camera will use them.My only complaint is that the USB connection seems off center just enough to require removing a little material from it to get it to fit. I understand it's supposed to be a tight weatherproof seal, but I was unable to get 2 of these to connect securely without removing just a tiny bit of rubber from one side.

I bought the 2-4W panels for my Blink 3rd-gen cameras. The panels were effortless to install and connect to the camera. The back of the panel has a flange where you can wrap the excess cord around to minimize cord dangle. The panel itself has a single cord coming from the panel, and the opposite end is split and has 2 connections: a male micro USB plugs into my Blink 3rd gen camera and a female micro USB intended for use with a different model. The instructions provided in the box have a picture that shows this panel can be connected and powered to 2 Blink 3rd-generation cameras. However, you must purchase an additional cable to plug into that 2nd female micro USB cable from the panel and then plug it into the 2nd Blink camera. However, I am unable to find a cord from this company to be able to do that. I can find the appropriate cord, a male-to-male micro USB cord, but it is not waterproof and does not have a little rubber piece to seal around the camera connection as the other connecting cord does. Other than that, the panels have been working fine and were simple to install, and the app says the battery status of the panels is good.

The cord doesn't seal well with the camera, so it isn't weatherproof. You can see a gap between the cord and the camera. If you barely brush it, the cord will fall out of the camera. Additionally, the cord doesn't fit inside the protective casing of Blink Gen 4 camera mounts, so there is no way to use it with your existing outdoor wall mounts. These are a waste of money and time.

Only problem I have had. Bad lighting storm blew out one of the panels and camera. They work really better than I thought in the winter. Low light or cloudy. Cameras stay with power all night.

Easy to set up but don't place camera or solar panel under roof eaves unless protected somehow to prevent water from running over your system and later freezing becoming iced over.
