Panel output is good at 1.5 to 1.8 amps and 15 volts from winter sun (Summer sun likely higher but I installed this in December).Does a nice job charging a 12v battery to power 2 post lights to an area that was difficult to get house electricity to

I’ve got 5 of these running my game camera and they work fantastic. Even in low light conditions, they keep a sufficient charge on the battery box. There have been several of my cameras that I’ve nothad to change the AA batteries in over a year.If you’re looking for an alternative to a solar panel for your game camera or a way to trickle charge a battery, I would recommend this product

Purchased for my son's kayak to charge the battery running his fishfinder. Installation was quick and so far, performs exactly as anticipated.Definitely recommend both seller andsolar panel.

my vehicle sits for long periods of time - I don't go to the office hardly ever and when I do drive to the grocery store, its the 35miles per gallon commuter that I take instead of the 14 mpg weekend warrior truck. Unfortunately, this means that my battery dies after about 30 days due to accessories drawing power like remote starter, antitheft system, etc. I ordered a 10W solar charger that did NOT do the job and the battery still died while connected to it in sunny arizona. I returned that charger and ordered this one. Well, once again my battery didn't have enough power to start the engine, and instead of jumping to start it, I attached this solar charger and let it sit. After 24 hours the batter once again had enough power to start the engine. Im happy with the power this produces and if left attached, it keeps my batter charged enough for starting - although my neighbors hate me because now I move my car out of the community / guest parking even less since I don't need to start it as often to re-charge the battery via the alternator :-D

Added this to a seldom used parade vehicle to help increase the stamina of an auxiliary battery for accessories during the day. It works surprisingly well. My only issue was one day I disconnected the battery from the system to hook it up to a trickle charger. When I hooked the battery back up to the solar system it was still charging, but the screen on the controller no longer worked so wasn't sure if voltage was being properly regulated. I was able to exchange it, and have since made sure to disconnect the solar panel from the controller if I am disconnecting the battery. No further issues! Have already recommended it to friends.

There would be long stints between me using my scooter as it was gifted to me when I really didn't need it. But I still loved going around on it every now and then. The limiting factor would be having the battery get a little weak from sitting so long and making it difficult to start. I bought this and 3D printed some brackets to hold it on to the back of my scooter and just wired to the battery. Always had a full charge and was ready to go whenever I was. I think this little kit makes a pretty good battery tender as long as you do the due diligence of keeping it dry. There are a lot of battery tender options out there but I didn't want something that required it to be hooked up to an AC outlet or to my house with the inherent danger of charging a battery and where I usually parked it did not have an outlet. This was the perfect solution. Although if doing something in a marine application you may want to go with a waterproof charge controller but that's up to you.
