This fit great in my 2005 Yukon XL and it also fits multiple other GM front door speakers. Note these are only needed for the front doors but not the back doors which mount directly to the metal. There are multiple connecting tabs and depending on which ones you need, you can remove the unnecessary tabs with a Dremel or Coping Saw. However, for my installation, I didn't have to remove the extra tabs at all and it fit and even helped keep it tight.One Note: The title says 6.5" or 6.75" speakers will fit but that did not work for me. I originally got 6.5" speakers, but the round part of the speaker is literally too large to fit inside these brackets. So I STRONGLY recommend you get 6" speakers for these or possibly 5 1/4" speakers. I ended up using 6" speakers and they fit just fin in the brackets and then in the door. The two adapters that came with this were also perfect to adapt to the GM standard connector to the tabs on the speaker. In the end this was everything I needed but remember it only works with 6" speakers and don't try anything bigger.

As with all universal mounts, prepare to trim the excess peices off that are meant to fit other vehicles. It feels sturdy and it does work. Just know that it most likely isn't going to work for you straight out of the box unless you trim to fit your specific vehicle needs

Does not fit 6.5in door speakers as says it does. The only thing usable was the harnesses.
