The 5pcs 16x12x2inch is actually just under 1 inch after letting expand for 48 hours. No way near 2 inches thick.

I used a hot knife to cut out the inserts. Not as easy as pick foam, but also easier to customize. Stuff works fine.

The foam inserts fluffed up in about an hour. I used them to make inserts to hold my notary stamps. The inserts were easy to cut with a box cutter. They were quite dense and held up well to cutting and shaping. As you can see, I was able to make a nice cushioned insert to protect the stamps. I would highly recommend these inserts for cushioning.

This product is advertised to be 2" thick but after leaving out for the recommended 48 hours each sheet is only 3/4" thick
