After struggling with saran wrap this set of tops is a welcome solution. The tops will be used for other household can sealing as well. We used this on 5OZ and 3.5OZ Tastefuls cat food cans. The fit seals well and eliminates the saran wrap. The 3.5OZ can used the inner ring seal and the 5OZ can used the outer seal on the lid. Being it is silicone they will not crack like the harder plastic tops. For messy applications this top can even be used over a wax or cellophane wrap to hold the wrap to the top of the container.Really happy with the purchase of this simple well crafted product.Good Luck......

Once you get the hang of how these can covers work they are pretty darned good! They are quite pliable and are molded to fit multiple can sizes. The trick is to make sure the can rim is lined up perfectly into the right groove and then, and this is most important, you press gently on the top and pull the handle to let out any air. If you see a concave the seal is in tact and you are good to go until ready to use again (see photo).Now, when you remove the lid it will come off easily. After reading some of the other reviews I think some people perceive this ease of removal as the cover not having a good seal. I don't think that's the case, it's just the nature of the silicone. I foster cats and use a lot of can covers. I liked my first set of these covers so much that I quickly bought another. The covers were each individually wrapped and packed well for shipping. They are wonderfully pliable and go on easily. Unlike the hard plastic ones that work well when new but crack over time, I don't expect these to ever break.It is a little harder to clean in between the ridges. This is to be expected with can covers in general, but the pliability of these covers adds one degree of difficulty because there's nothing hard to push against. To me, it's not a major bummer considering how excellently they perform. I usually wash a bunch at the same time and either presoak them, or let the top rack of the dishwasher do the work for me.I suggest afixing the cover to the can and then burping it to get any air out that you can, so the cover has a concave appearance as is shown in the last pic.

Thea fit the cans great. If your cat is an a$$ he can get the lid off so put it in a cabinet. Our cat can open a crockpot so the lid is bungee corded to the crockpot.

These are nice and flexible and unlikely to break, but I would rather have them in the specific sizes. The narrow spaces created by being able to fit multiple cans are difficult to clean. If you get them clean, they're difficult to dry. Ours have all become mildewed even when extra effort is expended to dry them.Another drawback to the extra ridges on the inside is that cans that aren't emptied very much before the first use of the lid have a tendency to get squished into the food. My friend has ended up with most of these and this is particularly common with her dog food cans.

These are fantastic can covers!!! I received I believe 5 different colors. Perfect for cat food.
