I take my lab to the dog sitter multiple times in the course of a month. She takes her own dry dog food when she goes and this container is perfect. It is lightweight and durable, holds enough food for at least a week, and does not leak (or allow small critters--like mice--to get in). It would be even better if it had a carrying strap but that doesn't stop the good functionality of this item. The dog sitter liked it and is recommending this item to other clients.

Sturdy & the perfect size! I rescued or fostered 90 dogs in 20 years but never found a kibble storage bin I liked. This one is perfect for small dog kibble! It seals well, is easy to pick up, & fits under the shelf in my lower cabinet. Excellent value, too! Buy this bin and never fiddle with the seal on the dog food bag again!

It serves its purpose. My only criticisms would be the odd shape -- it takes up more counter space than it should. The bigger issue is the "airtight" seal -- I assumed it would be silicone, but it's just a very thin layer of cheap foam. Probably won't last more than a couple of years. But I guess you get what you pay for -- this was cheap, so I can't complain.

I have a larger Iris container I used for years for dog food. I repurposed when our dog passed away. Now we’ve added a small pup and needed a smaller container. This is perfect for the smaller 3.5# bag of dog food I now buy. It keeps the food fresh and dry with airtight top and is easy to scoop from.

Nice container, mostly airtight, a bit top heavy but not too bad. Only 3 srars for sturdiness because the lids hinges are the weakest part. They will pop out if you are not careful. I use it for storing cat food, so it gets opened every day. The hinges should be piano hinge style with a metal rod holding it together. Container is OK, not worth sending it back. We’ll have to see how long the hinges last.

Although I like these, I ordered an 8 quart, and what I got was DEFINITELY NOT 8 quarts. It's more like 6 quarts, if that. I wanted enough space to be able to fit one bag of special ordered dry cat food that comes in one size only, made sure 8 quarts was big enough for the whole bag amount of food, and what I got, not what I ordered. Please specify the right size on the drop down so others are not mislead. Thanks!

It is a nice size and like the seal.Lid keeps coming off ... not every day but a few times a week... keeping it but it is annoying.
