We’ve had these for a couple months. I was worried that the black finish would come off, but the dishwasher is not affecting them so far. Bigger than I thought they might be (and yes I looked at a ruler and the measurements). They could probably lose a half inch in length and still work fine for chopsticks. The black color is a warm brownish black, and blends nicely with our black chopsticks. The color is less obtrusive than I’d imagine shinier silver ones would be. Overall an elegant solution.
