  • It has an oversize eye to reduce stress and tension on the thread. It also accommodates metallic threads for heavier top stitching thread and makes needle threading easier.

I was told by a factory rep that these needles are what come with a major embroidery manufacturer, so I decided to try them. Perhaps they are not as strong (they bend a bit more easily) than the major brand of needles, but they are so inexpensive it is ok if you lose one every now and then. However, they are good, sharp needles that make beautiful embroidery.

These needles hold up well to high speed machine embroidery. It is a good price so I don't feel bad changing my needle every 50,000 to 75,000 stitches to keep my designs looking crisp. They go through several layers of fabric and stabilizer with no issues.
