I am very pleasantly surprised with these stars! I originally wanted actual rivets, but had to “settle†for these with the prongs. And they’re perfect! I like that the prongs help the stars stay flush to the fabric on all 5 points, I can’t even fit my fingernail under them so I doubt they will get pulled off. The prongs went through two layers of thick pvc pleather like butter, and through 4 layers (where they overlapped the seam allowance) with a little more effort and still had just enough room to bend down in the back!

They look great. Hope they hold up. They were in a plastic bag and I carelessly stuck my hand in the back to pull them out and stabbed my finger. Be careful folks!

We used the stars to make a USA flag with stain glass. Worked beautifully.

I was excited to receive these decorative stars as I needed to replace old and discolored stars on my white Elvis jumpsuit that I perform in. They looked great, but then the party ended. I washed the outfit and these new stars immediately rusted and ruined my outfit!!! It will cost me close to $1,000 to replace the ruined outfit. IF YOU ARE GOING TO PUT THESE ON CLOTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE WASHED DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
