I bought these to replace the plastic clips that came with my kitchen cabinets. I was glad to see the shelf pin dimensions were listed on the product page. Before ordering I measured the hole opening of the cabinet which was 1/4 inch and then measured the hole depth which was approximately 9mm. I was a little concerned the existing cabinet hole may not fully accommodate the shelf pin but the shelf pins fit perfectly and are snug. The shelf pins appear to be well made having consistent build quality, are strong/sturdy and a definite upgrade from the plastic shelf pins; the silicone sleeves are a plus. I ended up ordering an additional set to complete the remainder of the cabinets.

Our builder provided enough pegs (without covers) for two shelves in our closet, despite the fact that we have 12 shelves. These are so far superior with the covers, we’re replacing the kitchen cupboards with them. The shelving doesn’t slide or shift! Great find.

I like the metal durability and the rubber tabs to keep the shelf from slipping. I did re-drill the holes to a bigger size, but if you do this, make sure to put a stop device on your drill bit, because it could drill right through the piece your drilling.

I needed some shelf supports quickly for a 5 cabinet entertainment center I made with adjustable shelves. I found these pegs of consistent quality and like the slightly shorter pin as I have shelves on either side of center cabinet and these allow for holes on either side without one trying to push out the one on other side. They are sized correctly for 1/4" so fit snug. Not sure the little silicon sleeves to quiet shelf because I use hole to secure shelf to pin. Overall, I will buy again.

They should never have made plastic pegs… metal are the only way to go! And at a great price, these rock!

These do not fit perfectly in a 1/4" hole like ones you may get at the hardware store (Lowes or HD) they are not quite as snug as I would like them to be as a cabinetmaker. I imagine the mm to inch is not a perfect conversion from wherever they are made. They seem good quality, though.
