Simply pull the backing off the envelope's flap to reveal an adhesive strip that can be folded over and pressed down to seal contents safely inside.
Gummed!
Moisten the strip of adhesive found on the envelope's flap and fold over to seal contents securely inside.
Flip & Seal!
No moisture is required, just flip up the bottom flap, fold over the top flap and press to secure contents safely inside.

Envelopes are envelopes, one as good as the other. But self-sealing adds a new measure. All that I have used thus far, have the appropriate amount of adhesive.
