ALKALINE-EARTH-CONTAINING BOROSILICATE GLASSES (BOROSILICATE GLASS):In addition to about 75% SiO2 and 8–12% B2O3, these glasses contain up to 5% alkaline earths and alumina (Al2O3). This is a subtype of slightly softer glasses, which have thermal expansions in the range (4.0–5.0) × 10−6 K−1.

I really like the plastic cap n plastic lip on the flask. Creates a tight, leak proof seal. It was a great value in the perfect size for me!

This is not good glass . Notice the seam on the side means it was made by a mold . Lab grade glass is seamless and can handle a mini fridge!!

Thick glass. Not a flat bottom but still allows for use of magnetic stir bars. Anti-drip ring is essential and works well. Fit easily into Insta-pots and pressure cookers. Great product, especially for the price.

These seem to be quite substantial and may be a bit heavier than most. Note that there is a plastic lip on the top of the glass which could be a problem if you need to heat these much.

Mine broke the first time i attempted to heat liquid inside of it on a Bunsen burner. Followed my normal process as I do with many other flasks but this one did not survive, it broke almost as soon as the flame started heating it up. Maybe I got a flawed one? My other gripe is that the lid is rather HUGE and bulky. I give it three stars because It could have been awesome.

El producto se ve de buena calidad pero viene en un empaque demasiado sencillo y llegó rota una pieza, además el empaque no tiene ninguna indicación de que es un material frágil.
