  • WELKFORDER WFVL-50FT Vertical Lifeline Assembly is made of Energy absorbing lanyard + two steel snap hooks + Rope Grab + Lifeline Rope, has the fully passed test report performed at authoritative laboratory in accordance with ANSI Z359.15-2014. Applied to Construction, Roofing, Window cleaning, and Surveyor etc.
  • The Shock Absorbers are designed for up to 6-foot free fall applications with a maximum capacity up to 310 lb. (141 kg) including clothing, tools, etc. with a maximum deployment distance of 48 inch/1.2m & average arresting force 900lbs. Statically tested with a minimum breaking strength more than 5,000 pounds (22.2 kN).
  • The Three Strand Orange Polyester Rope 16mm (5/8") is made of 100% polyester Heavy Duty construction materials provides maximum security with breaking strength: 6000lbs, includes one eye termination with hardend thimble and one knot on the other end, applied with Anti-abrasive tubes for protecting rope ends from abrasion. Knot in rope significantly reduce the rope's strength properties. Limiter knot is permitted at the end of the system to stop rope grab from travelling past end of lifeline.
  • Snap Hooks used on WELKFORDER Vertical Lifeline Assembly marked with the “ANSI Z359.12” standard are self-locking with minimal tensile break strength of 5,000 lb. and a 3,600 lb. gate rating. YOKE rope grab is constructed of a long-wearing non-corrosive stainless steel, brass and bronze material for Rope:16mm (5/8") with Min. Breaking strength: 3600lbs, meets ANSI Z359.1.
  • WELKFORDER Fall protection equipment must be used by a Competent Person. Or the user must read and fully understand the limitations and proper use of the Fall protection equipment, and be properly trained by the Competent Person prior to use.


WELKFORDER Vertical Lifeline Assembly is designed for minimizing the consequences of a fall form a height, by mean of built in deceleration system. The Snap hook which assembled with energy absorber must be connected to the dorsal D-ring of the full body harness. The other snap hook must be connected to the anchorage connector. Haven't had to test it (knock on wood), but it's just as advertised. Seems well made.

Very tight twist rope with coating. Appears that it will wear well. Have not used as of yet. Other cheaper loose twist uncoated ropes will not last long around abrasive shingle/roofing materials.

Rope appears to be very well made. The metal hardware pieces appear to be steel or brass rather than aluminum, for added durability. I have not used the item yet due to it being the winter season, but as soon as the weather warms up, it will get tested.
