I had to laugh. I had a bag of discard in fridge because I’ve been using a small mason jar. It kept seeming to overflow and I felt like I had so much starter. I ordered this because obviously easier to clean, feed, etc. holy crap my amount of starter is so small compared to what my mind kept thinking 😅 very happy with my purchase and the price. The jar is glass. Great quality. Looks good. And bigggg. :)

Love the quality of the jar, easy to clean! Size is great, super large, cute appearance, lid can seal shut or can just rest on top. Great for starting and or storing in fridge.

I luv the size of jar opening. Was using a wide mouth mason jar but this is so much easier to mix. Maybe a little big if you have a small refrig for storage but fits in my fridge door perfectly.

Found the glass to be thin in thickness as compared to another 50 oz straight sided jar from another supplier.

Glass is thinner than I'd like and I'm afraid it will easily break. If it was thicker, the jar would be perfect!

The wide opening on this jar along with it's size is what I like the most. easy to clean and I liked being able to monitor the raising dough. Hoping it will last a good while as it feels fragile. Store easily in me fridge with the lid tight.
