It was an easy install. Getting the rubber in place takes a bit of work but once you do it goes together easy and works well.

I have a 2004 dodge ram, 5.9. My grommets had fallen apart, and recently the linkage slipped out after some rough forest roads. I bought this to fix that issue. I used the grommets, but nothing else. The original linkage is fairly longer in comparison. Rather than attempt to make sure the throw of the shifter worked, I only used the grommets. Maybe this shorter length would work, but I didn't want to attempt that route.

Unfortunately this doesn't fit the manual transmission on 2500 4x4 it's too short! It has to be a longer linkage this one comes in at 11" the one for manual transmission is 16" roughly. I'm sure it'll fit automatic due to more compact in size.

Some stole the factory arm off of my pickup so I bought this as a replacement. It is adjustable so it fits perfect. Have had it for a year and a half now and no problems with it. Definitely recommend
