This standard 55†/12 lb barbell is good size for a home gym in a tight space. The spin on collars threads are a little loose sloppy but they do work, otherwise it is well made.

I love it. It's a very simple design that's well-manufactured; it's great-looking, and strong -- just like me (I wish).So, all in all, this solid steel chrome-plated bar is a winner. It'll make a great gift for someone at a great low price for you. This is indeed a strong buy recommendation here, but the company needs a new ad-writer. 5 stars

Since this is all metal, it is one solid piece. That part is good. The two end pieces that you screw on you have to be careful. I had a hand tight and they started coming loose after just a couple of workouts. Other than that all good.
