The provided adapter from usbc to lightning for my ipad was not staying connected when bumped so for kicks I looked for the UseePlus app on my Samsung Galaxy 22. The google play store had it and the borescope worked flawlessly on my Android phone. That's a nice bonus. In general the camera quality is about normal for these little guys and it serves my purpose for looking inside violins. The camera easily fits into the f holes on violins. I had a wifi, more expensive borescope but this is direct, easy and works fine.

Used this to see inside a wall. Has built-in light . Can record video or photos. You can also flip the picture 360 degrees in 90-degree increments so you can view the subject upright no matter how the probe is positioned. Using it on my iPhone 16. Works great!

Maybe it might be useful under limited circumstances but all of the great feature of the built-in camera are not there.

Used it with an older iPad that has the most current up to date operating system. Installed the recommended app (Usee Plus). Opened up the app then plugged in the Endoscope and it immediately was working. Very good up close focus and detail from about 1/2" away and further. It comes with a USB mini to Lightning port so it will plug into newer and older iPads and iPhones. Using it for my mechanical and handyman purposes it is more than good enough.

It works good when it works but I have trouble keeping it connected, there is some connection issues with the iPhone adapter

The camera only worked sporadically. I believe the Lightning connection was not working properly. When the connection did work I was able to use it to inspect the inside of my guitars but if I moved or touched my iPhone I would lose the connection. I had to play around with it to get it to show as connected.
