This is WAY better than the cheaper, more flexible borescope I used in the past. The semi-rigid cable is much better for probing around, except in the tightest of pipes (where I sometimes had trouble getting it around sharp corners--- but a pre-bend to curve the cable in the right direction really helps). No more taping an unbent clothes hanger to the camera cable to push through long runs or get better position control in tight spaces. The adjustable light levels are also nice; my only complaint is that it should default to 50% brightness. The lights reset to 100% every time it's turned on, which produces far too much glare in most environments. Overall video quality is sharp and the "rotate screen" button is really nice for keeping yourself oriented. I definitely prefer the integrated screen and controls to having to fumble around with a smartphone and WiFi or Bluetooth connection. I haven't used the side-view camera as much as I thought I would but it's nice to know its there. The entire unit is well-constructed and durable, with easy-to-use controls. I think the only features missing, that you might find in a more expensive scope, are a low-light mode (but probably not that important given the built-in lights) and a wider-angle fisheye lens (which I'm sure would require a larger diameter cable and significantly more expensive optics. For the price, though, I'm sure this model can't be beat.

Great product for the price. Long battery life, and the picture quality holds up.

This inspection camera charged up rather quickly. The picture quality is pretty good and clear. It brought 2 attachments (a magnetic tip and a hook tip) to assist if picking up objects. The brightness is also adequate. There are many options online to buy but, I stuck to this one due to the reviews, the ability to take photos and videos and it's price. I'll give an update if any issues arise. I expect tovuse it mostly during automotive repairs and maybe around the house. I doubt that I will use it for plumbing but it appears to be sealed enough for use for that purpose.

The camera is very easy to use and the picture quality is very good. I’ve used it a couple times already and I I think it’s great.

It is a "must have" device for any DIY person. Makes working on engines enjoyable for those places that can't be seen. It has a stiff bendable 15ft extention. The camera is clear. Screen is perfect size.

Provided a clear image. Maneuverability of the scope was kind of tricky, but once I figured out it's direction relative to where I was standing, it seemed easier. Is never been so glad I owned one of these when we had a plumbing issue occur last week. Long story short, problem solved.

I have used a similar device in the past but it needed to connect to a phone, and I really don't care for those types of devices. This on the other hand, is all in one. The device itself has the screen in it and it does very well and maybe better than others with phone connections. I used this to track down an issue in a drain, and was able to find at about 5-6 feet in a small object had gotten lodged and restricted the flow. I would not have been able to see this without this. Right there, makes this invaluable in the future. I also used it to see how versatile it was, in checking a conduit from our TV to an outlet port as we were having an issue with feeding cables through the conduit. What we found was very unexpected. The conduit should have been a short 5 foot drop, but we found it went up, then through the rafters and then around a beam and finally to the outlet. In using this, it actually wasn't long enough to go all the way through, but it did reveal the unexpected conduit install. Our builder has rectified the issue when shown what was done. The device is fairly lightweight and encased in what seems to be a very rigid casing. I feel like this provides a good level of protection. Not being a tool I use frequently, I expect this will last for some time. So far we have had success in using this to resolve some issues that would have been otherwise fairly difficult or labor intensive without it. I do believe this would be a benefit for many professionals, or even DIYers. 100% satisfied and would highly recommend. I really am looking at any opportunity to pull this thing out as I really like how it all works together. I doubt there would be any disappointment in having this in your toolbox. I think it's next job will be inspecting my vents after they get a professional cleaning done. I will do a before and then after. Also, if you want to record content, you will need to get an SD for this.

This is a game-changer for home and professional inspections. Its dual-lens setup gives you multiple viewing angles, and the 4.3'' IPS screen delivers clear, sharp visuals. The built-in light is super handy for dark spaces, and the IP67 waterproof rating means it can handle drain pipes and other wet environments without a hitch. Whether you're dealing with clogged pipes or curious about what's lurking in hard-to-reach spots, this inspection camera is a reliable and versatile tool. Bonus points for being easy to use right out of the box!

ITEM REVIEWED : DEPSTECH Dual Lens Borescope, HD Endoscope Camera with Light,4.3'' IPS Screen Inspection Camera, IP67 Waterproof Drain Pipe Camera,16.5ft Semi-Rigid Snake Camera Cable for Car Wall Plumbing HVAC____________________________________________________________________________________________The DEPSTECH model DS320 has a 4.3 inch display screen and comes with 16 feet of "flex cable" attached to it with two HD color cameras on the end/tip. One camera faces forward, the 2nd camera faces to the side. Included in the box also is a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, 2 small tip attachable "accessories" (one is a hook, the other is a small magnet) and a multi-language instruction book (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Japanese). Each language section is 8 pages long. The instructions are quite simple and easy to understand. Although the charging cable is supplied, you need to supply the charger power supply (5 volts) yourself. The scope can also take pictures and videos. But in order to do this you need to supply a Micro SD card (I guess the scope itself doesn't have sufficient memory to save pictures or videos) - the instructions say not bigger than 32GB however I inadvertently used a 64GB Micro SD card which I had handy and the scope easily formatted it and stored pictures on it. I did not test taking videos. The ability to record pictures and/or videos is an important feature for any inspector. This way you can give your customers visual examples of some of the things you are reporting (and used with this tool to see).I'm just using it for "personal use" and find this option of recording pictures (or videos) good to have. I can record the status of something I've looked at today (drain pipe, heating vents etc.) and save it for future comparison when I check it out again in a year or so. You can view your files on it's 4.3 inch color display or remove the Micro SD card and connect it to your PC in order to see the files and/or copy them to your PC's hard drive. The instructions outline (but don't explain in detail) a method of connecting the scope to your PC using the USB charging cable and viewing the files that way too. I have not tried that - transferring the Micro SD card to my laptop was a straight forward method ... just like I used to have to do with my old digital camera... before I started using my smartphone as a camera.A great tool to have to do BEFORE and AFTER review/test yourself when you get your heating ducts cleaned. I've always suspected that some of these duct cleaning companies have been doing a "performance job" - that is a job that is a performance to make it look like they're doing a great job and a lot of work with big fancy cleaning equipment. When after they leave you always wonder... "Did I get done what I paid for?" Was it all only for show? Did they do a so-so job or was it well done? NOW I WILL KNOW !I wish I had this borescope a few months ago. I could have put the scope down the drain in our bathroom sink to see what was causing it to drain so slowly. I'm certain that had I been able to somehow see what was stuck down in the trap that it would have been much easier to clean out - I'd know what I was up against - instead of fishing blindly.I've also used it to see behind a very large very heavy (unmovable) wardrobe/dresser. Happily nothing there but some dust. I imagine it will also help the next time I'm working on my car and I drop a nut or bolt down the side of my engine block. This will be much much better than the little mirror on the end of a pull out rod we've all used before at times like that... and with the two little attachments maybe even be able to pick whatever it was up...A great tool for many different viewing or inspection jobs. It puts "eyes" where you can't normally see. Considering the high quality build and what it does I feel that the regular price at the time of writing of CAD$71.99 isn't bad (and at this time there is a discount 10% off coupon apply check box (-$7.19) bringing the purchase price down to CAD$64.80) - I've looked around a bit and that's not a bad price for a scope with these specifications.
