Works excellent for a heat and sound barrier. I lined the underside of my hood and firewall on my truck. Doesn't stay stuck very well. Had to add liquid nail in spots to get it to stay. Make sure to clean the surface very well first.

This is very tough and super sticky stuff. Once laid to a clean surface, it is not coming up except by ripping. The glue is very strong. The foil front is very tough; I tried pushing a bolt through it and gave up and drilled the hole, the foil has fiber strings for reinforcement. I am pleased with this product, it cuts well with scissors and can be cut with a razor knife that is sharp and best with a wood cutting board. Best wishes.

Actually used to insulate a steel bath tub the insulation confirmed to the curves very well and the applicator roller was very solid the tape was super too

Thick insulation, good adhesive when used over a tack coat. The foil side is good enough, but if it was a little tougher I’d call it perfect.

The material came in a large roll with gap tape and a hand-held rolling tool.Overall the installation was very easy. It took me longer to clean the floor pan than it took to apply all the material. This piece was enough to cover both front footwells and the transmission tunnel in between, with some to spare.A final word of caution - the sticky side is very sticky. It will readily stick to itself if you’re not careful.
