Update 9/2/2021I can not understate the disappointing "carboy" I received. I have purchased 3 other quality carboys from this page that were satisfactory, although eventually I came to realize that the caps are not perfect and sometimes leak when inverting the carboy to mix chemicals. The carboy I just received is clearly a $0.05 version that feels very brittle and made of very cheap plastic. I may have kept the item but the cap doesn't even have a rubber seal to prevent leaks. This item is useless as designed. I absolutely do not recommend anyone to purchase this item until the quality of manufacture returns. And this was almost $10 more than when I last purchased a carboy .Scientific equipment is often unnecessarily expensive. I don't need a $500 carboy, just something durable enough to not crack if dropped. This carboy is perfect and great quality. Spigot is nice. Top is great. The quality of an expensive Nalgene carboy for a fraction of the cost. I'm about to order another to use for other purposes in my lab!
