I was not familiar with DT connectors before ordering these to hook up lights to my tractor. The lights came with the DT plug, but no mating connection so I ordered these with the hope that they are standardized. I still don’t know if there is some universality amongst DT connectors, but these fit perfectly. I have seen them if noticed them more since ordering these and it looks like the key is determining how many pins are needed. In any event, the connection to the back of my lights is solid and weather proof and it was easy to splice in some wire to reach my power source. I like that I will be able to remove the lights and relocate them without having to cut or untwist and wires. The DT connectors make hooking and unhooking the power source simple.

I used this plug to replace the plug for my Surron light bee throttle after it was damaged. These plugs are exactly the same as the original throttle plug but having slightly different wire colors. But as long as you pay attention to the wire colors and match up the plugs with your previous plugs, its a very easy installation. These also come with precrimped wires so there is no need to crimp your own. This makes it even easier to install because all you need is a soldering iron and heat shrink to get a good connection. If you prefer to crimp your wires, I would suggest looking for a different version of this plug.Overall, these plugs are great and are the perfect replacement for the Surron throttle plug. They work great for me and installation is super easy with the precrimped wires. 10/10 exactly as expected.

I like these because I use them to wire up my vehicle's exterior LED lighting. Whether it be my front light bar, my rear light bars, or the numerous side lights I have, I now can easily swap out LED lights if they go bad or if I simply want to upgrade my lights. I don't have to worry about water/weather being an issue due to the design of these connectors.Value: At $12 at the time of review, this is a good deal.
