This item was a lifesaver, as our mailbox is not on a post, but inside a brick and cement tower. Despite some attempts to fix the existing door, nothing was working well. Once I received a complaint from the Post Office regarding the door, I did some more research and found this product. If I had known it existed earlier, I would have ordered it a long time ago. It is not cheap, but it fit perfectly on my existing mailbox, and is working flawlessly. There is an installation video that shows how easy the product is to install, and it really is that easy. As expected, the hardest part was removing the old door, which wasn't that bad (I just drilled out the pivot pin). I wish other home improvement options worked this well.

This worked out great for my older 80’s mailbox set in stone! I also sprayed black. Looks great! EASY install!!! Just pops in nice and snug! Looks great!

I painted it black and added my house number. Worked great on my damaged mailbox. Easily snapped into place. Repaired a mailbox installed in a stone pillar.

OMG!! THIS IS THE BEST INVENTION, EVER!! The house I moved into is over 25 years old, and the brick mailbox was the "look" in the neighborhood. The door wore out in mine, to the point I came home one night with it hanging on one hinge. I was sad. Did not want to pay to tear down and rebuild the brick cover in a new box. Did NOT have too!! Yeah! Works great and makes my box look new. I have recommended this to neighbors with the same problem. Installs in 30 seconds or less!! It shipped super fast, too! That was critical!!

After many years the hinges on the original mailbox door rusted away. Since it was enclosed in a brick structure it would have been almost impossible and very costly to replace. After removing the old door this new door assembly easily slips into the opening and the now our mailbox is as good as new! Overall a great product.

I have been wanting to replace the mailbox door without having to tear down my brick mailbox. This was exactly what I needed. It is a perfect fit and was extremely easy to install.
