Our old mailbox desperately needed an upgrade and the old flag was plastic, bent and incredibly faded. This new flag looks great, and I'm happy that it's metal instead of plastic. The gravity-based lock (where it stands up when the flag is up) works well. It was easy to install - I had to drill a few holes in the mailbox but that is easy enough with a basic hand drill. One minor complaint: the screws stick out a bit on the inside of the mailbox... it would've been nice if they were a little shorter or if they had some sort of smooth caps included. But not a big deal by any means. I'm quite happy with this mailbox flag!

Their innovated design can be appreciated by residents, but not by the mail carrier who was use to slapping it down. The lift and push isn’t loved by all! My farm house looking mailbox needed a bit of ingenuity to attach this for it to work. A little block of wood and some predrilling did the trick and it mounted just fine. Works fine, other than the lift to put the flag down issue. Hopefully my mail lady doesn’t hate me too much!

I ordered this replacement flag because the one on our mailbox was missing when we moved in. The package includes three mounting options: screws and nuts for metal boxes, screws for wooden boxes, and double-sided foam tape. I chose the first option since that's how the original was attached. Although the holes didn't align perfectly, drilling a couple of new ones was easy. The extra screws and foam tape provided by the manufacturer were a nice touch, especially when I dropped one in the grass! Overall, I'm very pleased with this flag, and I'm sure our mailman will be too.

I have a full-sized plastic mail box on a post next to other mailboxes. The flag broke off so I ordered this replacement. Very satisfied. Super easy to install. In my case, I poked 3 holes in the plastic mailbox for the screws. I put the gooey sticker on the flag base, stuck it on the box, and secured it with the screws and nuts (included.) 5 stars.
