Going to work great for my remote battery relocation and fuse block for assories.

Nice Wire! I used this wire for my auxillary battery and it works pretty well. Wire thickness is about right and no more voltage drops.

Wire shows as tinned copper when stripped and the pvc jacket is decently thick while still pretty flexible. Comes wound in a single layer on a thin spool. Wire is 7 smaller bundles wound together and the stripped wire measures about 5mm in diameter, fitting well in the included ring terminal connectors. Cable jacket claims a rating of 105° C and 600V.

Looks good to me. The strands appear to be tinned copped, and the lugs are copper. The lugs are good for either 5/16 or 3/8 posts. The cable is fairly rigid, but still has some flex to it. However, the price point is high, considering for a few dollars more, you can get double the length. I think it will work well for my marine engine use.

This being a welding cable it is fairly stiff which is absolutely fine for most applications and is easier to get through a fire wall. But since it is stiff that also means it is free of toxic phthalates making this a wise choice. I got the 4 gauge and thickness of copper is good, rubber coating is fairly thick. Also it is hard to find a large gauge wire in a smaller amount. So this is a really good option if you aren't going to need a whole lot of wire and you don't want to purchase a 25 foot roll.Plus this is the best wire you are basically going to get since it is oxygen free copper. And this particular OFC looks very high quality. A very large amount of strands in the cable and they look nice, you can see the copper and the tin on the wire. Cut was rough but straight. I am going to cut the end anyway so it doesn't matter if it's not perfect. I really like the high quality copper loop connectors that come with this wire. These alone make the whole thing worth it because they are solid copper, very thick and extremely durable. These are never doing to break on you and they give you four of them and the shrink wraps too. The shrink wraps could be used on any size even 0 gauge.I am going to use this wire for my amps inside the cabin after the distribution block on my positive power from the battery which is 0 gauge OFC.

This is a really nice kit for a copper battery cable. The cable is finely stranded so you don't have to worry about fatigue cracking of the strands, just like typical welding cable. I included a photo of the strands and a cut through the wire to show the tinned copper stands. The insulation is your normal plastic wire insulation , as such the resulting cable is not as flexible as typical rubber insulated welding cable, but is great for higher amp electrical connections. Actually the insulation was surprisingly tough to cut though when I was making up some cables. The kit comes with copper crimp lugs, so you will need some way to crimp them. Many people use a inexpensive crimper that you strike with a hammer but you really should be using a real crimper, the ones with the long handle and adjustable dies. I have included photos of the lugs so you can see the thickness of them. There are also 6 heat shrink tubes included.
