HOW TO CONNECT

How to connect?

  • Connect the two wires of the linear actuator to a 12V battery or 12V 5A adapter.
  • Black to the positive and red to negative will make it extend. To make it retract, reverse the terminal connections.
  • For optimal performance,you can use the actuator in conjunction with a controller,which makes it easier to control the extension and retraction of actuator.

I used two of these linear actuators to raise and lower part of this toolbox so that it can fit into my trailer. The actuators are very powerful and easily lift the 100 lb upper structure.

Buyer beware. This actuator has a duty cycle of 2 minutes on and 18 minutes off. This was not disclosed on the sellers page. Update: The seller gladly refunded my money and modified thier description to be more accurate for future buyers. I was impressed on how quickly they resolved it for me. I was able to find an actuator that met the spec, but at a higher cost which is only fair.
