I recently took a chance and bought 5 sets of 3+3's for a batch of low cost guitars that I wanted to make into players. I was very surprised at the look and feel and apparent build quality of these locking tuners. As one reviewer mentioned, the posts are a bit shorter than optimal, however, I've had no issues with stringing or breakage.Normally, I use Schaller or Hipshot lockers on my nice guitars, but they are much, much pricier. These knocked my socks off for the price and made sense for a bunch of $200 Grote guitars (which also don't suck if you can get around the 20" fretboard radius). These look good, feel smooth, and seem to be staying in tune once the strings have stretched in.I just ordered a 6 in line set for a super ($99) cheapie guitar. They may outclass the guitar but I'll have fun and not break the bank.

Work great, as good as my $190 Klusons. Will buy again to replace all my tuners that aren't locking.

My fault for assuming these would be the same length shaft as stock tuners but they are 2mm shorter. The string hole barely comes above the nut. The hourglass part of the shaft is also very small in comparison so getting any more than two wraps on the lower strings won't be possible. There is a little barrel inside the shaft so the actual locking shaft doesn't put unneeded friction on the smaller strings risking them breaking.They seem nice with a good finish, they just really need to make them a standard length shaft and widen the hourglass portion.
