Lightweight and rigid, acrylic is the perfect material for a variety of creative projects. Cast Acrylic is preferred for laser engraving applications. Acrylic has also the unique ability to carry light around corners.
If you are looking for a more versatile plastic, then these colorful acrylic sheets of ours are a great choice, which can be easily Shaped, Routed, Laser Cut or Engraved, Thermoformed, Sawed with any type of saw, Glued, Painted, Silkscreened, Drilled, Bent and much more.
About Thickness
This is the thickness we measured
- Acrylic Plexiglas sheet almost 1/9" (0.28mm)
- The picture shows the actual measurements in inches. Please allow a tolerance of ±1/100" in the finished product thickness.
- Six different colored transparent acrylics, one of each color a total of six pieces packed together.
- Both sides are protected by a transparent protective film.

Perfect leafy green type of shade, so perfect for my needs with nature themed laser projects. I wish that it was paper masked and not plastic film covered, as it does add a prep step (not great to laser the plastic film.) Smell isn't horrible (no acrylic is great!) when lasering.I was partially interested in this brand because of the listed thickness (being a bit thinner than the 1/8th inch I normally buy), but in fact it comes in at .121 with my calipers, so actually identical to the other acrylic offerings I have purchased. This may sound crazy, but when working with acrylic to make earrings finding something even just a bit thinner can really enhance the aesthetic.

Works for me, but colour names are deceiving. Red is actually pink, and green is yellow with a hint of green, but not even like lime. Pink + yellow give you a nice salmon colour, though. Two yellow - give you a nice yellow.
