Our mats, with a very good waterproof membrane, will interfere with normal use even with repeated erasing.
It's not expensive to use a new one each time.
Each set comes with a set of flat edge strips that allow new mat to unfold quickly and flatly. The large capacity packaging and cost effectiveness make it entirely possible for you to use brand new mats every time you entertain friends!

My D&D -loving son was ecstatic to get these for Christmas. They are great for a variety of campaigns and the carrying case is a really great bonus. The graphics are clean and colorful and the maps seem pretty sturdy. I think they will give him a lot of exciting adventures.

The mats work great for imprompt maps and conflicts. Some have too much detail limiting creativity but overall well worth.

I bought these for my husband/DM. We absolutely love them, they are great quality and the travel/storage case is so convenient. With the clips they lay out so nice and flat. My only question is what is the purpose of the 3 holes and arrows on the travel case? Do they have a purpose?

I love these battle mats. They are reversible from a light brown dirt color to a blue gray stone color. They erase easily after weeks with a small amount of the spray and eraser that are included.

I have these made by at least 5 “popular†sellers that I have picked up at Cons or online. I have paid $30-75 for a SINGLE map, albeit the $75 one being neoprene and a bit larger than these. That said, these are hands down an incredible value, and if you pass them up for literally anything else you… are dumb.It isn’t just that they are a good “value†though. They are made from extremely good material that will keep a LONG time. The squares are readily visible regardless of map color (difficult to find in maps, believe it or not), and they give you markers, a great eraser, and must-use spray, though I did find that I prefer my own dry erase market collection that is clean and visible with their fantastic easy-to-see lines.More than all this though, they recognize people are moving these around and storing them rolled, so they give you a REALLY high quality tube that is the perfect size and has great portability for years to come. They also give you plastic end weights you just slide onto the map edges that prevent the map from tolling up during game play.The affordability v. the value here is a joke. The beauty of these maps alone is worth it, but add in the storage tube, their reusability, and the quality, and these CANNOT be beat.

Maps are fine, the real benefit here is the edge straighteners and the case. Markers are vibrant and smudge-resistant.
