No instructions. Do I need to do anything to make them work or are they working right away? If I don't use them all right away since they aren't individually wrapped will they become ineffective? Who knows because they came with nothing to let you know. I do like that they are white and match the fridge interior. My fridge didn't smell. I use things to prevent that from being an issue so I can't tell as I'm not trying to remove an obvious odor..

This works well but I wish the deodorizers were wrapped individually since all of them came wrapped together. It would have helped preserved the other ones after opening. I just put the extras into a ziplock bag for future use.

Came in a plastic bag with no instructions so guess you're just supposed to put it where you want to eliminate odor. I put one in fridge but not too sure if its working. Its not like my fridge smells bad. I put another one in my son's shoes and it didn't do what I expected. I guess besides mild smell, it doesn't do much. The price is a bit high too. Worth trying but don't expect too much.

I got this set of 6 refrigerator deodorizers and it's basically a bag of activated charcoal in a plastic cage. The instructions on the description page said to remove the plastic film before using but these were all thrown loose in a nonresealable bag. It would have been great if they were individually sealed because I have to use them all at once now that the bag is opened. It says to place 1-2 boxes on each shelf of your refrigerator. This seems a little excessive to me. I usually have one large open box of baking soda on my top shelf towards the back that seems to work pretty well. I did place a box on each shelf and these were very effective at removing basically all odors from my refrigerator. The nice thing about activated charcoal is that it can be recharged by placing these in direct sunlight for 3-5 hours. I haven't had them long enough to do that yet but I love the idea of just recharging these and using them over and over. For that purpose I think these are worth the money. I'm not sure how many times they can be recharged without losing effectiveness but I'm crossing my fingers that they last at least a year for this price.
